“This is a place of exceptional beauty where the vines, olive trees and cherry trees seem to have found their natural position among the winding curves of the hills of the municipality of Fumane”
Italian Wines
Gambero Rosso ed.
The Monte Sant’Urbano vineyard is in the Valpolicella Classica area, in the municipality of Fumane, at an altitude between 280 and 350 m/above sea level. This vineyard, in addition to offering one of the finest crus in the area, also offers a great heritage of biodiversity: here we find grapevines, many of which are very old, as well as woods and olive and cherry groves.
The soil is of volcanic origin with basalt components mixed with limestone and cretaceous schist, giving a valuable mix that favors production of grapes rich with aromatic and extractive components and a level of freshness and refinement of bouquet that marries perfectly with the production philosophy of the Winery, founded on elegance and tradition.
